Jacyn Richardson has been part of the Sharratts family for four years.

Her journey began as a paralegal whilst she was studying Law at Staffordshire University. After graduation, Jacyn began her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, Birmingham Campus. She studied part-time for two years whilst working in our office, to ensure she gained valuable practical experience.

In August 2018, as an already experienced and trusted member of the team, Jacyn began her training contract here at Sharratts.

Jacyn took to seeing clients very quickly and began building her own client case load with experience in various family law matters - Non-Molestation, Occupation Orders, Child Arrangement Orders and Care Proceedings,.

Jacyn is extremely client focused and will often attend out of office meetings to support clients. She also has first-hand court experience and is a worthy advocate for any individual seeking advice on a family matter.

Jacyn completed her training contract and was admitted to the law society’s roll of England & Wales on 2nd March 2020.

We are very proud of Jacyn’s achievement in becoming a fully qualified solicitor, she has completed her education and training whilst working in our busy family law team. It has been a long and hard journey of work and ongoing exams but Jacyn has excelled and obtained excellent results along the way.

She is now a fully-fledged member of our specialist family law team and is involved in our many complex cases.

Jacyn is an enthusiastic and skilled member of the team. When she is not helping families in the course of her working day Jacyn gives tirelessly to the local community as a foster carer for abandoned cats/kittens and helps with local groups such as the scouts.

Well done Jacyn… she is a rising star and one to watch.
