Bio:
I joined Sharratts Solicitors in April 2021 and I am thrilled to be a part of a team that has the knowledge of Family Law and the commitment to all clients that Sharratts has.
I studied Law at Cardiff University and graduated in 2017. Following a year out, working with the young people in my local community, I completed by Legal Practice Course in 2019. It was during the Legal Practise Course that I realised that Family Law was the area I wished to specialise in. I enjoy the personal nature of family law and the fact that I would have the ability to help individuals through emotive and challenging situations. Shortly after finishing the Legal Practise Course, I secured employment as a paralegal within a busy Family Law Department. I started my training contact in March 2020. I am delighted to be completing my Training Contract with Sharratts and developing my knowledge of all areas of family law.
I enjoy Family Law because of the relationship that I can form with clients at what, is often, a very challenging period of their lives. I enjoy being able to use my knowledge of the law to assist my clients through the process and to be able to secure the best outcome for them and their family. It is very important to me that my client understands the legal advice that I give to them, but they also feel supported and listened to through the duration of the process.
At Sharratts, I will have the opportunity to continue to work and explore all aspects of family law including Public Law Children Matters, Private Law Children Matters, Domestic Abuse and Divorce and Financial Matters. I hope to continue to learn and grow in my practice of all areas of family law over the remainder of my career to be the best I can for my clients.
